The thought that keeps coming to my
mind most often lately is about how old our minds must be.
It matters a lot because there are serious, complicated problems that we face individually and collectively which cannot be resolved mindlessly.

The U.S. Public Broadcasting System has
a TV series entitled “Closer to the Truth” in which the host, Robert Kuhn, interviews leading scholars on the subject of mind and
the results are, to me, beyond ridiculous. These “leading scholars”
are so lost, so divergent, so encased, so limited, that it's simply
annihilating. This is the best? It's just so shocking.
